All printing projects are made-to-order.

To provide an accurate printing estimate, we need information about the project including: quantity, paper stock type, finished size, number of colors, printing sides (single or double), bleed and trim specifications, desired finishing options (folding, binding, etc.), and file format; essentially, all the details about what you want printed and how you want it presented.

Print Specifications

> Quantity
> Finished size (width x height)
> Paper stock type (e.g., cardstock, glossy)
> Number of colors (black and white, full color, PMS colors)
> Printing sides (single or double-sided)
> Bleed and trim area requirements

Artwork/Mockup

If you already have the art ready, or even just a mockup of how you want your piece to look, this can help speed up the estimating process as it can help clear up communication issues for aspects of a project that don't come across well in text format.

Finishing Options

> Folding (if applicable)
> Binding (e.g., Saddle Stitching, Spiral Coil, 3-Ring)
> Perforations
> 3-hole drilling, etc.

How to Send your Artwork

  • Digital Files
Preferred Vector File Types: PDF, AI, EPS  |  Convert text to outlines, embed any linked images.
In some cases we may accept Bitmaps: .jpg, .tif, .png
Note: Changing the file name to a vector file extension will not change the file type.
  • Resolution
Your file must be at least 300dpi or vector art. If your image is below 300dpi, please do not simply increase the resolution. This will result in a very blurry, pixelated image.
  • Bleed
The bleed area runs along the edges of your document. You will want to extend any background image or color all the way to the edge, and slightly past it, to prevent any white borders from showing
  • Web Images
When images are taken from a website, they are typically 72dpi. This resolution is not high enough for printing purposes. You may also run into copyright restrictions when using web images and therefore we do not recommend using these in your artwork unless the image was purchased from a stock photo website at a large resolution.
